FAQ’S
Do I need experience?
No, full training is provided. You will also can shadow more experienced volunteers. We ask for volunteers to be non-judgemental, caring and impartial.
What training is provided?
We provide mandatory new volunteer training, introduction to becoming a volunteer, child protection, domestic abuse awareness and health and safety. Following this there is opportunities for further training throughout the year).
How much time do I need to commit?
Each centre varies. Most centres work with your availability. For example, we have some volunteers attend fortnightly, some monthly, and some student volunteers during term time only.
